Last clue.
Every PRA president between Igor and Rusty had some connection with a bra designer.
Lift and separate and six degrees of separation (actually 120 degrees of separation)

Bingo! All of the PRA presidents since Igor have owned and flown Brantly helicopters. I hope Rusty has one on order (just to keep the tradition alive)
Johnny Hay and Mike McKiernan are also Brantly owners (as was one other BoD member who's name I can't currently remember)
N. O. Brantly was a brassiere and helicopter designer and the reference to 120 degrees of separation is regarding his famous (infamous?) 3 bladed 120 degree apart, unique rotors. Brantly rotors had flapping hinges at the root attachment and the lead-lag hinges at about 1/3 rd (?) the rotor's span.
From left to right: Johnny Hay (B-2B, N2193U, S/N 0404), Michael McKiernan (B-2, N6798D, S/N 0019), & Gary Goldsberry (B-2B, N2257U, S/N 0418). Gary owned all three and sold the 2 to Johnny and Mike. Gary also taught them to fly their Brantlys.

I owned a B2A for several years.
Great little helicopter. because of the lack of mass outboard of the lead/lag hinges, it was impossible for it to get into ground resonance.
The sheet metal behind the rear cabin bulkhead was formed into a straight 8 degree cone. Really easy to fabricate or repair.
It flew at 100 knots when other helicopters of the day flew at 75.

Hey Rusty, did you finally patch up all the holes from the open games in Iraq ? They all looked great on tv and then things got real quiet. Our guys over here at the base said that they got a lot of holes during combat....

Jonathan,
Yep we got most of them patched up pretty well. Still a few that you can tell were hit, Obvious patches. Most of the holes were in rotor blades. Once you change the blades, no more evidence.

Depends on where the holes are. If they are in close, you get very little indication either via noise or vibration. As they get further out, you pick up a little vibration and more noise. Typically it is hard to notice them from the bottom of the blade. They top; however, will be mushroomed out. Had one that hit my #1 engine, didn't even know it till I got back and found it on post flight. Engine was running fine and didn't hear the round.
