Got mine in the mail the day after I received it. I hope everyone else gets their vote in also.

I'm from Chicago during old man Daley's time. Not his son who's mayor now. The saying then was "Vote early and vote often". Gota love Chicago politics.

I renewed membership in April, but haven't received the magazine yet. Is there a list of candidates online anywhere? I'd send it in on plain paper with my membership number if I had to.

I just got off the phone with Jennifer about your magazine and ballot.

If I understood her correctly, she said the records show that you renewed 4/06? and there was a change of address so she doesn't know if that is what the problem is. But she said because of the recent changes in communication and etc., that if you FAX or get it postmarked by 7/14 that she will see that it is a valid ballot.

If you are willing to send me your email address I'll scan the ballot into a Word file and send it to you. I'm not sure it would be acceptable to post it here but will try to get in contact with a PRA leader and see if the BOD will allow it.

If there is any more PRA members that are having a problem like this then email me with your PRA # to topspin@consolidated.net and if there are not too many then I'll email you the ballot. The problem I see with this is that there needs to be some way to validate that I'm getting emails from real PRA members and not phantoms. I would think that a valid PRA number would work since it also has to be placed on the ballot.

i keep telling myself that i am going to contact the pra to get my pra number i lost/forgot/missplaced/whatever, and it just slips my mind. if i could of just mailed it ( without having to insert my pra number ).......well, i would of done it. its probably people like me that use that reasoning, that don't send in there vote. sorry about this. on the other hand, i would think the pra would reconize my name and mailing address and accept my vote without my pra number. hey...its still my fault. i'm just looking for an easy way out of (why i didn't get around to it). venting....sorry.:o

Call Jennifer at 1-574-353-7227 and update any info she doesn't have and make sure you are a valid PRA member. And then if you don't have a ballot in hand let me know and I'll send one to you.

Calls to the above number tomorrow will be forwarded to her cell phone.
