Scott, are you shipping these two them or are they local where you just drop it off to them? what would it cost me to have mine done? I could probably get Barry to bring my muffler to you when he goes to SX days, I don't have room for it in my plane.

My plane has a coating like that on it's exhaust and it is starting to flake off in some spots, mainly near the ball joints.

It's local, right over by where My son works, He just drops the stuff off, and then can pick it up when it's done. Conyers speed world.
About $135 for the 3 piece muffler, elbow, manifold. When you look at what a new muffler costs, the cost of the coating is not that much, if it will prevent it from rusting out.

Hi guys, the exhaust looks grest , I did the same to mine only I put on a supertuned system and it changed the perfomance #'s. the results were poor so I went back to the original and chromed it too, my perfomance accually improved, I have no idea why but #'s don't lie. Dave

Not to be a killjoy guys, but that big pipe looks awful close to your seat tank. Radiant heat may build up and cause issues.

Might think about exhaust heat wrap, at the very least for your elbow not to get a 3rd degree burn....

I wonder if there is a place local to me that can do that Bling Bling to my muffler

Should I bring a bucket or something to SX days? Seems like everybody's peeing all over the place!

Johnathan, Phil has been flying it like that for over a year now, He only put his elbow back there once!

No heat on the seat tank unless you are doing an extended ground run, (1 hour or better) then it gets warm.

We thought about all that stuff but it turned into a non issue.

Well you are! Just kidding Jonathon, It's not as close to the seat tank as it looks, but I have thought about a heat shield of some kind just in case.

Scott's right, I did get my elbow on it once, I can safely say - once is enough...

Yes Barry, a bucket would be nice..
