Hey Guys,

I need to ask everyone for some help.

I'm volunteering and also participating in the Ride for Kids in June. This ride is to raise money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. (http://www.ride4kids.org/)

Two years ago, a very close friend who I work with, had his daughter diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 12. With the help of the Foundation, the tumor has been destroyed and she is almost back to normal. She'll be on medication for the rest of her life.

Guys, this can hit your kid at any age. It hits a lot more often than I had ever realized. Check out the Ride for Kids site above.

Anyway, I'd like to hit you all up for at least a $10 donation for every healthy child you have. If you don't have any, then send what you can.

The Ride is two months away, so you can Post Date a Check for June 6 and send it now. That gives you two months to plan on this coming out of your account. All money is Tax Deductable and I can send you a receipt if you'd like. But your cancelled check will do the same.

Just so you guys know, I'm donating $200 in the name of Jessica Schnute (my friends daughter) to help the cause.

Make your checks payable to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

Here's my address:

Dave DeWinter
11088 Shannon Circle
Hampton, GA 30228

Thanks.

Great Cause Dave, my check went out in the mail today. I count my blessings every day to have 4 healthy kids.

Thanks Todd. I don't donate to just any cause. Most of them use the majority of the money for administration costs. The RFK's (Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation) and the Salvation Army are about the only ones I contribute to.

Thanks again.

Just to sweeten the pot, here's some more incentive to get you guys to loosen up the wallet a little bit.

For every $25 donation to the PBTF, I will send you a free Rivet Gun.
You can see it here. Rivet Gun (http://www.lovejoyamusements.com/id200.htm)

For every $50 donation, I will send you a free set of wrenches.
See it here. Wrenches (http://www.lovejoyamusements.com/id199.htm)

But there is a catch. You have to pay me for the shipping, which, to keep it simple, is an average of $5.00 to anywhere in the Lower 48 States. Outside the 48, email me and I'll see what it costs to ship to you.

So, just send me a check that is post dated to June 6, 2004, payable to "Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation". Throw a separate 5 dollar bill in for shipping, and I'll send you your gift.

I have about 20 each of those gifts, so when they are gone, they are gone.

Now how can you guys pass up a deal like this!!!
