anyone know who makes this redrive???

Ben, it could be any one of several makes including Jerry Barnetts shoebox redrive which I saw a pix of some time ago and it resembled this one somewhat. Then again it could be the Marcotte from Canada. I'm not sure if either of them is available any more. I haven’t been able to find much info or any picture on the Marcotte so I was just surmising from the description given. I also checked Tracy Crook’s web site but it doesn’t look like one of his.

I looked at the Barnett Rotorcraft web site and found the following but the pictures weren't displayed.

Gearboxes
Two models: Inline, rotating the same direction as the crank, and offset rotating the opposite direction.
The racing gear sets withstand 600+ horsepower, but the box is grossly de-rated for safety. At max aircraft power, the gears are basically idling.
