Mac spark plugs

Hi everyone.
Has anybody out there tried using automotive spark plugs in ther Mac. instead of the old aviation type plugs? I was wondering if the Mac. magneto has enough power for automotive plugs.

You can use auto plugs for the Mac, Champion 506 is the plug to use.
