Help with radio

I just bought a Ultrapro 2000 from LEAF I think that is the name of it, anyways I want to know what radio should I buy for my Ultrawhite...I want a handheld radio that will fit this helmet...All that came with it is a little cord that is not like the cord off of my David Clark........Kurt

For some reason, Comtronics helmets don't comply with the industry standard for general aviation headsets like your David Clark. Unfortunately you'll need a $100-$130 patch cord made by Comtronics to interface between your helmet and whatever brand radio you decide to use.

As far as radios go... I'm partial to Icom handhelds. Some folks swear by Vertex, etc.
