KB2/Bensen tall tail?????

Has anyone done a tall tail with a horizontal in the prop blast for a KB2/Bensen?

Yes there are several. One was posted there Ron Awad had it for sale it was a Contential powered Bensen. There also was a couple of KB3's(which is just a KB2 with an upside down bent a axel). Charlie Presnell converted his to a Tall Tail . He said it worked great. I think with a stock KB/Bensen you would have to put a taller mast on it. Hope this helps.

Richard Kennedy of Arkansas did a drop keel with tall tail on his KB.

I too saw that one on ebay. Sure is a good lookin machine for the money. He knew what he was doing when he put it together too. I buy and sell on ebay and someone's gonna make a profit on this one even if they don't fly it, it's just too clean looking.

Tim, that is the same gyro I had. Looks like whoever bought it repainted a few parts, probably tried to fly it without lessons and flapped the blades and then decided to dump it on Ebay for a loss.
