Hello all, I just got back from Macon, Ga, I left work early and drove down to preflight the gyro. I found a few items that needed attention. I hope everyone here does good preflights!

Anyhow, The weather was great, low 70's and minimal wind, so I got the discrepancy's fixed, cleaned the blades, and flew around the Macon airport for 30 min or so, a half tank of gas anyways. BEAUTIFUL! I could see for miles! The gyro flew fantastic. I took off with butterflies in my stomach, as this was the first time I have been able to get back up since I soloed over a week ago. Just a fantastic way to wrap up a day! (then I had to drive back to Atlanta) I was really able to enjoy flying and relax some today, and got up to around 1000 ft AGL. I did a couple of landings and takeoffs, I still have some trouble making a nice smooth landing, but that comes with practice. I LOVE IT!! It is just like a flying lawnchair!!

Gyro flying is just too cool!! :D

Hey Scott, Glad you had a blast today!

It was a perfect day to fly, I was at work and every time I stepped outside I would look up and think, Man! what am I doing here?!?!?!?!?!

What size shirt do you wear? I have a few left over Fly-in shirts around from different events I've been to and thought you and John might like to have some.

Later, Phil

Lucky you Scott! I am still waiting for nice enough weather to get the old 447 up for the first time this year! Won't be long now, I hope!

Scott,

That flying without Steve or anyone else around for the first time does create butterflys in your tummy don't it?

I'm so glad you had a good you had a good flight. I haven't seen 1000 AGL yet bot looking forward to it. Call me later today on my cell.

Phil Baby!

Where ya been? I wear an XL or 2x depending on the shirt. I'd love some flying shirts.
