Hello again!
The UltraFlight Radio Show airs live on Tuesday mornings right here on the web at http://www.ultraflightradio.com at 10:00AM Eastern Standard Time and 7:00AM Pacific Time. But you don't have to hear it live to hear it! You can also hear this show (and previous shows) at the show archive. We make it convenient for you!
We've got some great folks lined up this week for your listening pleasure, including:
> Richard Meredith-Hardy, 1990 World Microlight Champion
British Microlight pilot Richard Meredith-Hardy and Italian hang-glider pilot Angelo D'Arrigo are preparing to tow a Hang-glider with a Microlight to 30,000ft over Everest in May 2004. Crazy?* Can this be possible?* Two people think it is perfectly possible, and intend to try it very soon.* There's a lot more to it than just a bit of towing too, this project is but one of a series of expeditions all over the World to investigate the migratory habits of birds of prey. Richard tells us about it!
> Alex Dell, Homebuilder
Do you want to build an airplane? Alex Dell has done that, building a Kitfox Lite. Learn about this popular airplane and what goes into building it.
> Jeff Jensen, Cutting Edge Air Sports, Inc.
With the 2004 Fly-In season just beginning, learn about what it takes to be a vendor at the major Fly-Ins. Jeff Jensen takes time during the hectic preparations for Sun 'n Fun to talk to us about the day in the life of a vendor at a Fly-In.
> Tom Olenik, Olenik Aviation
When the show is live, Tom Olenik is ready to answer your four stroke and two stroke ultralight aircraft engine questions. Call them in at
(888) 514-2100 or IM them in on AOL or Yahoo Instant Messenger to UFRadio.
> Jim Sweeney, NAPPF President and USUA Board Member
One of the things that people like to do is fly with a friend. This sometimes evolves into formation flying. Jim joins us to tell us about how to keep it safe. Sun 'n Fun Ultralight Forums
> Roy spends some time talking about the forum series at Paradise City.
This year's lineup of speakers is outstanding and just another great reason to make the trip to Lakeland.
If you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when we're live at (888) 514-2100. If you have a show idea or know someone that could be a guest on the show (that could be you!) contact me at <roy@easyflight.com>.
Hope you get a chance to listen in!
Roy
P.S. If you do not wish to receive further mailings from me, first please accept my apologies, then reply and type 'Remove' in the subject line. All removal requests will be honored!
