Boy I love this new setup. Works great and is easy to see and get to what is new.

Thanks.

However, I can not edit or add an "Avatar". The little dot next to "do not use an avatar" won't change. I assume you are working on this.

And, can the signature somehow show a website address so people can click on it?

You're fixed now Ken, if you want a different picture, try changing it now and see if it works. If you have problems, let me know.

Everyone should be able to upload their own avatars now. I finally found the switch that wasn't allowing it. This software is very cool, but some of the switches etc. are pretty deep in the configuration. Let me know if you have problems.

No .jpeg that I have is 100x100 pixels. How does one shrink a .jpeg to fit?
BTW my personal data is AFU and keeps changing. I've not been a member since 1969 and I have more than 0 posts and my birthday is not 2003.
GREAT FORUM except for a few people with oral diarrhea.

Hi david, Haven't heard from you for awhile. ;)

Most of us use a preogram called Infanview to shrink down and resize photos.
You can download it for free at;
http://www.irfanview.com/
Click on download.

As far as your personal data on the forum, click on User CP toward the top of the page.

David,

if you cannot get your picture down to 100x100, email it to me at gyromike@yahoo.com, and I'll downsize it, and update your avatar for you.

Mike, I think Birdy has it wrong, what he is fitting in the hole is not to big, the hole is too big for what he has pictured.

Birdy, since when do SCG's have common traits? You fly at just above ant height, in your best "going to town" footware, have more open space that NASA, and chase cows for a living?

That takes a bit of beating

Ted

Perhaps your file size was right on the edge of the 19k-byte limit (or the 100x100 pixel size).

I had to do it twice. When I added the black border around the pictures, it was just a shade too large, so I had to compress the file a little to get it to upload.
