After lurking and bottom trolling I finally thought I would join this forum. Thanks for all the info, laughs, B/S, pictures. I have been flying gyros for about 15 years, Jim Digaetano taught me in Las vegas to fly gyros and I will forever thank him for introducing me to safe gyro flying, God rest his soul. We went to Taiwan together to fly gyros and to try and start a gyro company over there, man the chinese are tough people to do business with.
Anyway I am now building a plans built Dominator, so if anyone has any questions or helpful hints, they will be appreciated. Will try to post pictures too. Carey

Welcome Carey, I am also building my Dominator from plans. I have been flying my stock Bensen for the last 12 year and hope to retire it soon and replace it with the Dominator.

Hello Carey.
Welcome to the worlds best Rotary wing forum.
This is the place you get all you need and some more.
Glad to know that you made a good choice of gyro. Dominator is the best plan built gyro flying today.
I push a similar gyro with 914 turbo, for high altitude flying.
Good Luck and Best Regards.

Frank how far along are you with your dominator? What are you using for an engine? What state are you in? I have posted some pics in the builders corner. I look forward to talking with you.

Carey, I have all my welding done and finishing the machining, I even machined the rotor head that in the plans. I should be starting the tube frame within the next month. I have a 503 that will be comming off my Bensen. I am from Florida but I am working in upstate ny right now. Nice looking pictures you have posted.
