Hello Tim

Thanks for the clip.
Real impressive, awesome, specially at that altitude.
Looks like a bit of a side roll but perfect "G" all around.
Best wishes.

Yeah the pilot is Dennis kenyon from the UK, that was flimed at helitech99 I have the full video on vhs tape. he has a website, but I lost the link when my hard drive crashed. from that site there you can also view a spining backwards takeoff and climb.

The helicopter is an Enstrom F-280C, I am getting an Enstrom F-28C at the end of march.they have the same running gear in them. will be nice to know the helicopter is that strong, but I don' plan on trying to loop it..lol I found the clip on line and figured others would like to see it.

Not a loop, he rolls it 90 degrees to the right at the top to fly out of it. It is never inverted. Still impressive flying though.

Yeah in the video I have, you can see it better and it does look like he rolls out,but it is a wild ride for sure. Tonight I just got the first pics of our bird we are getting. needless to say I am getting excited. from what I have read, back in 1974 the Enstrom test pilot did do 5 loops in an F-28A at a helicopter competition. I would love to see that footage sometime.
