I noticed when I was flying sunday, my EGT was between 1150 and 1200 degF. and rpm was about 6640. at full power lever flight. @65-70 mph. Engine is 65hp Arrow Gt500cc.
Does this sound about right for this engine? Just curious, as information on these engines is rather scarce. seemed to run well, but I want to make sure It is not too hot or overreving.
Thanks. 8)

Scott, I have no experience with an Arrow, but 1150 to 1200 max sounds about right. What do the plugs look like?

sounds right for a water or fan cooled rotax, but a Arrow has neither a fan to blow air or is it water cooled. this may cause it to need to run slightly richer to help cool the pistons.
Scott are you going to grace us with your presence at Bensen Days?

well I had planned on going to BD, but we are SUPPOSED to move that weekend, But if the closing falls through , I might be able to make it at the last minute. So right now I don't know what is going on and it's driving me crazy!
The plugs look good, nice even tan color, not too white and not too dark, and nice and clean no deposits.

Scott, this weekend coming up there will be a few people there. The next weekend I think will be so so as several people are leaving for Home Saturday morning to be home with their familys for Easter Sunday. Best time to come would be Wednesday till Saturday morning. Hope you come and I get a chance to meet you. If not it won't be long till my Piper is out of the shop and I might fly down to Macon to visit everyone there.
