If you increase the AOB without increasing the AOA, to maintain altitude, the vertical lift component decreases, along with an increase in sink rate...(B)

B for me too. Isn't that why it requires more back stick the steeper the turn?

"B" is correct on this one. Yes John, the steeper the angle of bank, the more aft stick is required to maintain altitude, and, the need for more power. So, if you are in trouble due to lack of power, it is best to level the rotor.

I haven't read the other posts, but assuming straight and level flight attitude, I'd say "B". I'm thinking about how I was trying to hover into the wind over that golf course with you and you told me that unless I kept the gyro at zero bank my lift would start "spilling out" and I'd start descending.

Right Vince,
"Don't spill the wine!!!!" Like a full wine glass, don't shake the stick, you'll spill the lift. BTW, I do not drink anything stronger than Diet Pepsi.
