To answer the question about time to build a Sparrow Hawk... it's "REAL EASY" I'm back in Georgia. Kinda cool from what I'm use to in Australia..so if Ya got any questions drop me a line or call.

And ready to start flight instructions .. either in a Sparrow Hawk or the Black. Take Ya pick..Which ever suits your needs or interest..

I have been in NZ for a couple of weeks and was looking forward to catching up with you now that I am back!!!!

I hope that the machine was sorted out easliy and I look forward to catching up with the Directors. I am sure that they appreciated your expertise in setting the machine up.

Will you be back to Oz at any time?

I had a great time in NZ and the water between the two islands, 23 nm, called Cooks straight was crossed for the first time in a gyro with two people on board. Lloyd Heslops and part owner John Wilkinson of their modified Raf, rego RAE, flew across the straights and I flew back a week later with Lloyd.

While at the NZ Dannivirke annual fly at which their Assn AGM takes place I was pleased to be able to take the CAA guy Rex Kenny, who is head of recreational flying in NZ, flying, and show him that we now have gyros flying with the stability of 3 axis aircraft BUT with the control sensitivity of a helicopter. I conducted a couple of the pitch stability tests with Rex to show him how we need to test for stability these days.

I think Rex enjoyed the gyro flying that I encouraged him to conduct. Rex is one of us (recreational flyers) as he is building his own fixed wing aircraft.

I also had the pleasure of taking Geoff Price, the UFO director/financier, for a flight and Geoff I think enjoyed flying our second best modified Raf, other than Hybrid with the change to a gear box. Geoff makes an excellent redrive for the ej series of Subaru engines and will sell them to aircraft people.

Ok, that was a short run down on my NZ trip. More later.
