Phil Ruffin has completed the shirts and I should have them in the next week or so. There are a few going to Bensen Days for give aways at the Banquet.
Scott Essex asked how he could get one. This got me thinking, rather than sell any right away, I'm going to use them for promotions etc..
The First Promotion Being: New Gyro Pilot
Requirements:
1. Must be an active participant on this forum. 50+ posts
2. Must solo in a gyrocopter between 1/1/2004 & 6/31/04 (possibly longer depending on shirts available)
I know that John Steven and Scott Essex qualify, so send me your sizes and addresses. Anyone else who qualifies, let me know.

Not a good promo, but at least you tried. I am new to this forum and to gyro flying, I soloed about 3 months ago I live in the north east where weather determines if you can fly or not. But as I am trying very hard to promote our side of aviation and do it in a very positive way. for those of you who do not know me you can ask Doug Smith or Maxie Wildes about my efforts to promote gyros, in fact you can watch for an article on me and my gyro coming soon ( I hope ) to Kit Planes. Howard Levy who is writing the article has been very, very patient with me and the weather. So my point is I would love to by one or two to show off gyro flying. Dave

Russell, I have an Aircommand single place 582. It is a fully loaded machine with a gps and radio. I picked it up late last summer from AC. and trailered it back to the east coast where I live for now I will be moving to New Mexico later this year.

Phil,
Could you post pictues of both sides and optional shirt colors. Can we please order these? Maybe forum stuff in the for sale area or limit the order period. I'm an xxl ( you need to charge extra for extended sizes).
If not for sale now. Will they be available later? Thanks

Dave,
The shirts are in transit to me right now. When they get here I'm going to set a few aside for promotions and give aways then I'll make the rest available for sale.
Stealing a line from Henry Ford
They are available in any color you want, as long as it is grey.
I have some XXL coming.
I'll take pictures and let everyone know prices etc. when they get here.

Todd,
I do think a forum store would be cool. T-shirts and vinyl bumper stickers, etc. I bet some of the members have inside tracks on some great stuff.

I agree Dave. I will probably work on setting up some type of store when I get the forum where I want it in the next week or two.

I agree a store would be great and could help raise money

:) this is a great idea. A store why we need ebay. If we can amoung or self plus with the expertise and knowledge we can sell or buy here. Manufactures get referral from here . This could help reduce the cost of runing the forum. I hate to see this forum disapear as Norms.
I met many people and share many ideas and question. As for the first Item I will donate a real cocunut with water in it. This will come with a certificate stating you own and island in the caribean.
Sounds better than the scam on ebay of the magni.

Dave Eisler,
I didn't realize there was anyone else from New Jersey on here.
What airport do you fly from?
Although I live in northern N.J. I train at Trenton Robbinsville airport
most saturday mornings on my buddy's Tomahawk.
I'd love to see your Air Command some time.

George, A small world, Until just about 8 or9 months ago I was at Robbinsville for several years I had a piper worrior there and my wife worked on the field, when her boss sold the buisines there and moved, I went with them to Lakewood. It is only 10 or 15 minutes from you by gyro, I plan to fly there often. I still have many friends there.

How about that Dave!
One of these nice saturday mornings it would be great if you flew on up
to Robbinsville. Put out a call on the unicom for Tomahawk 2426Foxtrot.
If I'm there I'll meet up with you.
(I usually fly with my instructor between 8 am and noon)
I'd love to bend the ear of someone who has actually built and flown
a gyro!!!
There is absolutely NO ONE up my way (that I can find) who has one.
When I ask at the airports, many people aren't even sure what
a gyro IS!
By the way, my instructor, Brian Robbins (maybe you know him?)
would love to see your gyro too, as would my friend Mike who
owns the Tomahawk.

George send me an e-mail with some #'s ,cell etc. and I'll reply with same. I am still in the early stages of flight in my gyro staying with calm winds but I am moving at a good pace and I am going to georgia for more advanced lessons, by the time weather breaks for us I will be there. Dave.
