Laptop computer & Bensen Days

Will anyone have a laptop at BD's with the capability of downloading pictures from digital cameras to a CD?

If so, this could be a real service for someone like me with just one small memory chip for my camera.

I have a card reader that plugs into a USB port and blank CD's that I can bring.

This is the only time of the year I am without a computer. BD Days. Cant help you there. I have seen Dofin Fritts use a lap top in the pilots lounge at Wauchula, not sure how or any of the perticulars. I dont know if anyone will have a lap top there or not. MJ :)

Hi Chuck,

I hauled my laptop to BD 2002 for exactly the reason you state, downloading in case I ran out of space on my CF card. I had bought a 128MB Compact Flash card shortly before I left, and the reality was that I never filled it. My camera is 2 mega pixel, and on highest resolution consumes about 1MB per photo, so the 128MB card gives me ~130 photos. The 128MB and 256MB cards (CF & Memory Stick) are really pretty cheap on sale. If your resolution is very high, and you take hundreds of pictures you could run out of space, but picking up another card on sale could be an option. I think if someone askes Alan Uhr he will bring his computer in the huge trail he has. Also he has a CD of thousands of gyro pics and video. I will see him tuesday and ask. I will also bring pics from Bikeweek! :o
