I am leaving for Taiwan on Tuesday and if time is available would like to visit the Yoshine Helicopter Co. in Taichung to see the Ezycopter coaxial design they are working on. In addition to numerous pictures what information would anyone suggest that I seek. Most of the time I will be in the Taipei area and I understand that Taichung is about 2 hrs by train.

I noted that Yoshine Helicopter Co. CEO is Charles Lin. I believe that somebody with such name was known for former Modus Verticraft - a Taiwan company which Ernie Boyette was so disappointed with a couple years ago.

I have been watching this one for a while now. It seems to fly nice as a UAV but look how complicated the rotor system and controls are!!!!! I have seen the Kamov attach coaxials and they have less stuff on there mast to control it. More parts just means more to go wrong.

Thanks for the info. Will save the train fare and do some sight seeing instead.

I believe that Charles Lin said that he had a management position with the Ultrasport helicopter manufacturer in the past.

A visit to the plant would be interesting and informative.

Knowledge is a wonderful thing. http://www.unicopter.com/Wink.gif

Regaring the authenticity of Charles Lin. I just got back from a trip from Taiwan, and in NO way, is Charles a ripoff artist. I had a most enjoyable time.
In fact, after visiting all the factories that produced the parts for Charles, I bought my second CDS from him. This man knows his stuff and I have much faith sitting underneath this rotor. He has the highest technology at his disposal, being one of the best equipped countries in the world for CNC manufacturing.
It is really ashame that one would post information like this, they must have mistaken him for someone else. This guy is straight up. Besides, you can pay by credit card and you are always protected.
Charles has overcome most of the issues associated with single rotor design and his co-axial design seems solid. I can't wait to start my engine.

I have no idea if it is the same person. I stated if he is the same person my father delt with at Modus then he is indeed a rip off artist. He puts on a great show but , when it comes time to produce he cuts corners on materials. He also does not live up to agreements and sells behind your back. So I know what I am talking about. Once you have lost money then we will see how you feel.

I get lots of questions about what I am working on and my experience with Charles. I decided to make a visit to the HeliDome, and told about my visit.
The experience was nothing less than positive. I do not like to hear about people losing money, that is very difficult, but at this point in time, my observation is as such. Best of luck to you.

Charly,
Nice aircraft. I am sorry to hear about your woes. I try to warn people of this scam artist. I was told he was being sought by the government in Taiwan for ripping their government off. I also heard he was on the run in mainland China.

The national museum just outside of town is well worth the visit.
