Hi Paul,

I work for Agere Systems, and several months ago we acquired an engineering design team in North Ryde, which I believe is on the outskirts of Sydney. There is a reasonable chance I may need to travel there and meet with them sometime over the next year. I was hoping that you might be close to Sydney so I could meet you (and maybe get a lesson), but it looks like Ballarat is a good 800km from Sydney. Too bad!! :(

Hey Gene, we won't let a little thing like distance get in the way.

Work on arriving Sydney on Thursday and meet your people Friday, whip down to Menbourne where I will pick you up. Then we fly a couple od times or more, and you leave Melb to go home after the weekend!!!!
