Started Painting the tail roday, Got the first coat on and my idiot neighbor starts to mow his grass, He is north of me and the wind was blowing from that direction!!!!!!
He had absoulty NO clue he was messing up my paint job :-[

Where were you painting? In the front yard? I KNOW it wasn't in garage with the Harley there to catch the overspray!!!

In the driveway, Yes I had the garage door closed. The wife's bike is in there also. Red overspray would not look good on pearl white! I just do not have any place to paint it :'(
Clear coat goes on in the AM

Then you go to Lowes and buy a turck load of 2x4's and some nails and a big roll of plastic sheeting and make a spray booth to shoot it. No need to add the lovebug effect to such a fancy machine! - it is love bug season down there right?

Russell: Nice looking Sparrowhawk. I think that is the ultimate machine. :)

Russ,

Nice looking work. First time I have seen the "N" number on the lower section of the tail assembly. I start painting my SparrowHawk tommorrow and you gave me another idea to think about. This forum is great for looking at other ways of doing things.

Gorgeous! Russell, is that a Sparrowhawk cabin, or a converted RAF? I probably just haven't seen enough Sparrowhawks yet...

That is a converted RAF. And Russ is short enough and light enough to probably feel very comfortable in the cabin. It is too cramped for me for long periods of time.

Greg what do you fly?? Do you ever come up to crystal River?? Maybe we can get together with the Eilands and fly to Cedar Key for lunch! Or Ocala nice little resturant with great sights :o

Russell I am finishing up my AC single place and have Flown with Terry afew times he is my CFI (great Instructor) hope to be able to do that with you asap ;D
