Hello everybody,

my name is Wilbert Engels. I live in the Netherlands and, although I've never flown in a gyroplane, I'm very interested in those flying machines.

I'm looking for an opportunity to get my first flight in a gyroplane but it's not that easy: there aren't many gyroplanes flying in the Netherlands.

I've done very much reading on the subject but the threads of this forum have answered many many (new) questions. One that still stands is about tilting the rotorhead: Can anybody please tell me more about the advantages/disadvantages of using an elevator instead of tilting the rotorhead for pitch control?
