Ron, you are the man.

You go out and test fly, after helping the owner get his machine ready.

You brave the elements and use all of your expertise to make sure that this owners machine is as safe as possible.

All that time away from the familly!!!!

Wouldn't it be great if you were doing something you loved while working so hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Ron: Nice pictures....the owner is very lucky to have you to check out and test fly the machine. Way to go....

Yeah, now he owes me a big fat Steak dinner somewhere fancy...... Hmmmm Maybe Hooters will do ;D

Guys these pics don't do this machine justice. It is one of the finest machines I have seen period. I don't know if I will be judging at Bensen days this year or not, but either way I would be surprised if this machine doesn't take home a award. It is that nice.

Hey Gang,
As the proud parent of the "BEE", I'd like to say that Ron really has taken the ship for a run. His first hop yesterday was for about 15 minutes and the second was well over 1/2 hour. He put it through all the paces and then some! (right Ron !!!!) (I did need a little trim anyway!!) I just wish everybody had a test-pilot like Ron... can't wait till he lets me fly it !!!

As for the steak dinner......well.....OK!

Hope anyone who can will be at the Goose Creek fly-in next weekend !!! See ya !!...and ...thanks again Ronny!

Ron & Barry,

How do you like having the instruments on the side? Is it a distraction, or do you appreciate the unobstructed view? The reason I'm asking is because I have cooincidentally done the same thing.

I think Barry did it that way cause it was cheap and easy. He hasn't flown it yet - Only taxied it once I belive so far - but I find it works fine since I only check the instruments every once in a while. I fly by feel and the only instrument that I really pay much attention to is the airspeed indicator.

since these pics were taken the Gyrobee has lost the 447 Rotax and now has a 503 DCDI Rotax. More power!
