I am considering building the two place machine that plans for appeared a few years ago in the Homebuilt Rotorcraft magazine. Has anyone built one from the plans and can you share information on the parts that are not described in the published series.
I also would be open to hearing from anyone building an open type two place to share information.
Thanks
Dan

They don't give the plans a name but in the text they mention the RF150, saying that it's tail fethers could be ultlized, so the plans are not for a RF 150 They look like a parsons two place with tall tail and droped keel.

I am thinking of building a 2 place machine my own self. I saw a Parson in England that had been modified and it looked really sharp so I have been looking for parson plans but with no luck. How can I get a copy of this series you are talking about Dan?

I got the plans from a fellow I met at ROC a couple of years ago, he had copied them from the article in Home built Rotorcraft magazine. The plans are not complete and would take quite a bit of additional work to fill in the blanks. I don't have the section for the nose gear, seats, rudder, rudder pedals, fuel tank. I have several questions but I don't know who drew the plans in the first place. If any one knows I would like to be informed.

Hi Dan
If you can't find complete plans and cannot find several of that model flying, better add 2 plus 2.

Dan If was from Homebuilt Rotorcraft magazine I am friends with the owner and we can get back issues. I have complete set of Benson plans to help fill in the blanks. With some help from some experienced gyro designers and builders I know I bet we can come up with something. I will check on the magazine stuff and get back to you.

Sounds like a RF-150 or a RF-170, both are Don Parham designs. I would contact Don about this since it sounds like his design and it was printed in his magazine.
