hello,
you guy that run ea81s with a redrive. got some questions for ya
1 what size and kind of prop do ya'll swing?
2 what is your all up weight??
3 what are your rpms in cruse?
4 what are you rpms max limit?
5 do ya know how much thrust your machine puts out and at what pitch

Taking a rough average from many machines that I am familar with.
1 Three blade Warp Drive - 76"
2 650 lbs
3 4200 econ cruise, 4800 fast cruise
4 5200
5 greater than 440 lbs (scale limit)
(6) drive ratio 2.62 : 1

thanks, i'm glad you took the time to answer. i was speaking to some people about the size props ya'll run on an ea81 they had a hard time believing that you guys turn 72 to 76" props at 13 degs and 14degs at 5000 to 5200 . thats what i plan on doing but the biggest i can go right now will be 72", i'm hoping to throw 500 lbs of thrust.

500 lbs should be no problem. Simply going from 72" to 76" is worth 30 lbs of thrust.

i've have seen 2 ea81 with what looks like 4 coils (one for each plug) and no distributor is this what they call wasted spark ?? run of a crank sencer?? and is it a good thing for a gyro?
