Is the 72 hp Mac engine that is on older Bensens, a dog?
If the Mac is a dog. can the 1980’s Mac be upgraded without getting a new motor?

The best improvement that can be made to the MAC is Rick Whitridge's electronic ignition kit. Adding the tuned exhaust also improves performance. The older MACs had a holley model 1920 carb. The better carb is the model 1940.
