I seen this crash some time ago,it's been out for a while.

They list it as occurring in Portugal. But the info I had indicated it occurred in Pre-Saddam-ouster Iraq. If you note, in the foreground is the minaret of a modern mosque.

Still tragic though.

None the less, it has serious suck factor. If you are doing formation flight, make sure to talk it out before hand. Who is running the show, how close, what you will do, what everyone will do for a bail out.

Formation flight is awsome cool and fun. Just do it by the numbers.

Those are 2 French Super Pumas, this "accident" occurred over Baghdad, during a military parade. A full scale military victorious parade after the first gulf war.
