Are tractor designs less popular than pushers? If they are why are they  ? I just want to hear some opinions.
Hi skier
Most tractors , with the exception of the Pitbull , require construction like you were building a regular aircraft, ie a lot of construction inststead of just bolt it together and go and for most of the gyro builders this is not the way things have been done in the past. The tractor is my preference but I admit it is going to take some time before people are going to be thinking about taking several months or even a couple of years like many of the fixed wing people do when they make a aircraft . I think the tractor is the ultimate when it comes to stability and possibly ease of flight, seems like the oldtimers may have known something.

I haven't flown gyro's at all, hopefully some day I will. The tractor gyros look more like real aircraft than pushers. not that theres anything wrong with pushers. Personally I like the look of tractors more than the pushers.
Thanks for the response

I have flown both styles and like the way the tractor gyros fly myself. If there was a good well built and easy to build kit for them I think there would be more of them out there flying.
