Jose, I bought a KB2 from skyguy (David Mikesell), which had mountain bike brakes. They work well; the main problem I have had with them is that they tend to have places in each wheel's revolution where the disc rubs one side of the caliper or the other slowing the wheel down. I think I have solved the problem by placing an eighth inch piece of rubber hose (a grommet) on either side of the bolts holding the caliper assembly, thereby letting the caliper float or move a little bit lessening the friction significantly. Overall they are light and work well; the hand levers are mounted right over the rudder pedals. At first there was a lot of darting with unequal pressures, but with some slow taxiing I have gotten used to them; and I think I am going to like them. stuart

Stuart and Jose,
The Diatech mountain bike disk brakes I used on my Bee have a floating caliper built right in, so the braking action was even and smooth right from the start.
See http://users2.ev1.net/~gyroman/tips/gyrobeebrakes.htm for more info.
