I was cleaning out some old files and programs on my hard drive and I came across one I had long forgotten: "CGCALC" authored by Mr. Taggart himself. Each wheel is weighed (nose gear and each main gear) with the pilot in the seat and a half tank of fuel. Then the mains are set on blocks of a known height and the weight of the nose gear is taken again. All of these weights plus the height of the blocks is entered into the program. The end product of the calculations gives you the horizontal CG relative to the main gear, the vertical CG above ground and the engine thrust line relative to the vertical CG. One drawback, it has to be run in DOS.

Thank you Mr. Taggart.
