Passed my checkride !!

I have been training at AAI for the past few weeks and passed my rotorcraft /gyroplane add on rating tody with Jim Mayfield as the examiner. Flying the modified RAF's there was a great experience.

Regarding the practical test: Terry Brandt the instructor is VERY thorough with both ground school and flying. Passing the oral was easy because Terry will make sure you have all the knowledge before you get to the practical test. Terry is very patient in teaching both the book knowledge and in demonstrating the flying manuvers until you are profficient.

Jim was a very fair examiner and really went out of his way to help me relax during the test. He continually stressed what he would be looking for and repeatedlly told me to take my time and get properly set up for each manuver. The flight review lasted only an hour and was both airwork and landings.
