One of the requested documentation items for the airworthiness are a 3-view drawing. I have a set of plans, plus the assembly manual and neither of these has a 3-view drawing. Does anyone have one of the Dominator? If so, could you post it, or e-mail it to me?

Thanks

If you cant find a 3-view drawing, then E-mail me over-all-dimensions of the frame, and some pics of your machine, and I will create a three-view drawing for you!

Tim

I think I may have one, at least I remember a 3 view drawing from a packet of info I got from Ernie when I ordered his video. I'll look when I get home.

Did anyone get a 3-view drawing? I have my airworthiness inspection coming up and may need that.

John,

If I ever got off my butt and sent Tim Blackwell the simple information he needed, I'm sure I would have had it in no time. But since I didn't, He didn't and I don't - Have it - that is. My inspection is tomorrow, I ended up just taking pictures at the last minute. I was talking to Ernie and he said thats all he uses. I still plan to send Tim the information, a 3-view would be nice to have.

Unless this is something new, my DAR only asked for one photo. The best thing to do is to contact your DAR once you determine who he or she is, and ask them these questions. Mine told me exactly what he wanted before he came out. It's mostly paperwork, the building log and the photo. The only other thing that mine told me to be sure to have is a compass deviation card. I don't know if that was his quirk or if they all ask for one, but if you call them first, they should be able to answer all your questions and give you guidance as to what they'll want to see. You'll go nuts trying to guess everything that could possibly be asked for and trying to get it done before they get there. Just ask.

Also, for you RAF drivers as to the W&B. I just filled in the sheet with the hang-test info and that was sufficient...the one with how many degrees nose down with one passenger and then two, blah-blah. It's in your manual....or used to be.

If I would have got off my butt as well I would have found the drawing I had and posted it. I write myself a note to look for it tonight when I get home.

Toby or anyone... I REALLY need 3-view drawings of the Dominator single place. My airworthiness inspection is wednesday and the FAA guy was very clear that he wanted drawings.

John, I'm pretty sure a photo will suffice. Maybe the Inspectors are different here, but all they need is one photo. Why don't you call the person doing your inspectioon and ask if a photo is what he or she means.....if you haven't already done so. Surely, someone that was required to have a 3-view drawing for their inspection could pop in here and let everyone know if the Inspector said a photo would have been fine or not.

Yeah... I talked to my inspector today and photos will do. Meant to get that done today, but between tracking the prop and trying to figure out oddball egt and cht readings, it's been a busy day.

Sorry couldnt find it last night but I just thought of a couple more places it could be. My wife is a clean freak, if it sits in one place too long it is gone. But she knows better than to throw out any of my gyro stuff.
