James,
I'm not sure if I can make it, I will know better in a few weeks.
Last year we had a good turnout, so be sure to go Saturday.
Later in the year we should have another meet at Marksville.

James,
How's the arm doing? Back to work yet? Need to talk to you at the flyin about saving the only oak tree left at my camp on Claiborne(from the Jan. tornado).

The inital assement was it would not be as bad as we thought but now it is worse than we imagined. The levies broke and now all in underwater. I 'm sure you all can see in on TV. Later...

Mark,
You are talking about SOUTHEAST Louisiana. The north part of the state(where Bastrop is located)is unaffected. At least as far as physical damage.

Pat, I just wanted to make sure that people did not misunderstand me when I wrote in another thread the Storm was not as bad as expected. I based it on the storm damage and the fact that it lost power so quickly but then the water began it hit and it changed everything.
I plan on being at Bastrop. It has always been a great flyin with people from 3 states attending. I just did not want someone to think I was calus about New Orleans.
If I had more time in the air I would try to make ROC also.
I would like to see for myself is Ron A is as good as he said he is or if he is stretching the truth a little. :D ;)

Mark,
Might be interesting to see a Ron A. and Gary Hall try to outdo each other.

yes, Gary is a fine pilot. Is his machine running?, Will he be there? I have heard that Ron flys well, but Mike G is a lot lighter I believe. Mike is builing a new machine and it would not surprize me if he would attend a flyin where Ron was flying. I saw Gary and Mike at Gonzales in high winds put on a show. Also the sky dancer flew well. After going up above the trees and feeling the crosswinds, I got lots and lots of repect for anyone flying at Gonzales. Gary is a blast , he does Arkansas proud!

I plan on being there, hope we have a big turn out. I know Richard Kennedy and Bill Weise are also scheduled to attend. See you there.
