A customer of mine gave me his old riding tractor since I cut his grass now and it was just collecting dust in his garage. It was pretty beat up, so I took off the deck and gave it to a friend who has this same tractor for him to use as a spare, threw away the busted up hood and then made a nice little holder to put my planes tailwheel into to help push the plane in and out of my hangar. Works pretty good. :)

The way things have been going lately that looks like a recipe for disaster.

Why do you say that Tim? You think I might forget it is back there and try to take off with it still attached? ;)

Looks like it would be a nice puller...but not a pusher.
Cheers :)

Ron,
You might want to secure the tailwheel down to the tray.
It would suck if the tailwheel bouced out and the rudder hit the tray!
Crunch

Ron,
I'm just messing with you. If it works good use it. Mike makes a good point though. It would be a bummer if it bounced out and you crunched your rudder.

Yeah I am a step ahead of ya's. I took a strap out to the airport today and used it for that exact purpose.
Harry, it pushes quite well and is very manuverable. I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to make it go on the front or rear of the tractor and decided to go to the front cause I thought it would be easier to operate that way. so far so good
