When I tipped, a guy on an off-road BMW came by. He had a camera and asked if he could take some photos....like I could stop him if I wanted to. He said his specialty is B&W. He gave me a ride out of the canyon so a friend could pick me up. Hadn't heard from him since. He phoned the other day and said he would drop off a photo at the airport. I wasn't there, so he left it with a neighbor. Is that a look of dejection and sad resignation or what?

That IS a look of sad resignation and dejection,
Been there done that!
But the B&W photo lends itself well to capturing a timeless portrait, very stark and melancholy, reminiscent of the "dust bowl" photo's of the 1930's, the framing of the photo is nice, well balanced, and good contrast.
Just glad you are OK Ken.

It's amazing how fast you've rebuilt. That photo makes it look a lot worse than what I thought it had been. You've done a great job getting her back together.
