NOW heres a hard one....if you buy the plans for the baby bell now know as the safarie...you get airframe plans....the tail rotor ...main rotor..... and main gearbox....plus a few odds and ends ...have to be brought from the factory....What parts would be able to be used..other than the factory parts..........some one said they used a honda civic car gearbox....at one time ...is this true..................

Seems you asked about a helicopter that not too many of us are familiar with. It seems like a nice kit, especially with the new cabin. Don't feel you're being ignored. May be hard to believe, but we don't really know everything here. :D

Alternatively, what about one Principal Assembly, consisting of transmission, rotor hubs, blades and flight controls. All to be supplied and repaired by authorized companies. The homebuilder builds the remainder.

Sounds like a great idea.
What company offers this?
Where are they located?
When will deliveries take place?
What are the specs?
How much does it cost?
And most importantly, how many are actually in use?
Vaporware doesn't count.
