Hello again!
The UltraFlight Radio Show airs live on Tuesday mornings right here on the web at http://www.ultraflightradio.com at 10:00AM Eastern Standard Time and 7:00AM Pacific Time. But you don't have to hear it live to hear it! You can also hear this show (and previous shows) at the show archive. We make it convenient for you!
We've got some great folks lined up this week for your listening pleasure, including:
> Dave Piper, Sun 'n Fun Ultralight Chairman
Dave Piper is the man with the task of making sure that Paradise City, the Ultralight area at Sun 'n Fun, runs smoothly. This year a little more attention is going to be paid to instructors providing tandem training flights as well as some of the heavier Light Sport Aircraft. You don't have to listen to rumors about this year's plans, you can get the facts here!
> Scott Wick & Jim Kaiser, Wick's Aircraft
Wick's Aircraft has been busy over the past several months. Since Scott Wick and Jim Kaiser took over the reigns of the home-builder supply house, they have been bringing more and more offerings to the catalog. They share with us some of the new additions to their line-up!
> Alan Laymon, Solo Aviation
Alan is a Rotax repairman headquartered in Kentucky. He has noticed a rise in engines being sold as "rebuilt" or in "great shape" that are anything but. He shares some strategies with us when looking for a used engine or ultralight with a two stroke engine.
> Tom Olenik, Olenik Aviation
When the show is live, Tom Olenik is ready to answer your four stroke and two stroke ultralight aircraft engine questions. Call them in at
(888) 514-2100 or IM them in on AOL or Yahoo Instant Messenger to UFRadio.
> Chris Gamble, Sun-Tech Innovations
A lot of people swear by the Balance Master, a disk that you bolt onto your engine to reduce vibration. Chris Gamble is the inventor of the Balance Master and explains to us how the device works and shares with us how many sports use this product.
> Dan Johnson, EAA
Dan Johnson is taking on a new responsibility in the emerging world of Sport Pilot and Light-Sport Aircraft. He has been retained by the EAA to implement programs and activities that will help people discover the opportunities available within these exciting new categories of pilots and aircraft. Of course he will tell us all about it!
If you have any questions you want to ask the guests or you have any of your own comments about a topic, please call the show toll free when we're live at (888) 514-2100. If you have a show idea or know someone that could be a guest on the show (that could be you!) contact me at <roy@easyflight.com>.
Hope you get a chance to listen in!
Roy
P.S. If you do not wish to receive further mailings from me, first please accept my apologies, then reply and type 'Remove' in the subject line. All removal requests will be honored!
