Gear ratio

Can anyone tell me what's involved in changing the gear ratio on a Rotax 618 from 3.0 : 1 to 2.56 : 1 or something close to this. I can only swing a 64&quot; prop because of clearance issues and that makes the prop RPM pretty slow.<br><br>Thanks for ya'lls help.<br><br>Grego ;D

Call a Rotax dealer and ask for a maintance or service manual. Should be a easy job but you also may need some special tools.
