Well I spent all day out at Butler Co. (Hogan Field) HAO working on the Pittbull. The dash is complete and I ran the wires to the engine. Tomorrow the EAA Chapter 974 is having their picnic so I'll not be able to work on it. Anybody in the area is welcome. If you got a gyro I'd love to see it. Fly/drive in it's open to all. :)
Anyway... the pre rotator is wired and the solenoid hooked up. The engine pigtails installed and the battery ready to tie in. Only a few more wires on the EIS to sort out and hook up to the EGT, CHT, rotor rpm, tach, flash unit, and then final trace out before engine start. After weeks of assembling and reessembling it looks as if the hang test may get done before Mentone. :D I still plan on bringing it to Mentone and get some of the experienced builders to look it over. I think it would be cool to do a new engine start, and possibly a thrust test there, both of which I have never done in the past. I figure the more eyes that can look something over and give experience based critique, the better. 90% done and 90% left to do. :

John,
How about some photos of your progress? Sounds like it's going great.

I'll be out at the airport today and will try to get some posted tonight. The EAA Chapter 974 is having a picnic and any one in the area is welcome. It's at Butler County Regional (HAO) Hogan Field. There's an auction earlier in the day so if you've got stuff to sell come on out! :)
