Aircommand, Dominator, Starbee gyros, and many others would have this stuff and would probably sell you the raw materials.

Joe,
My dad sells laminated masts either a 2x2 made by laminating 2 1x2's or 2x3 made by laminating a 2x2 to a 1x2. He uses the same glue and process to do these that he uses on the rotorblades. Give him a call 813-634-3370. Hey I always wanted to fly a gyro down in the Sierra Vista area. While in the Army I used to wonder around that area and I noticed alot of airstrips in the middle of nowhere. I don't know about if you can fly around there because of the military airspace restrictions, but it sure would be fun. If I remember correctly they are about 5,000 ft above sea level so it would probably only be in the winter time. I'd love to fly right down main street Tombstone. Just dreaming. I love Arizona, no humitity, no mosquitoes, no gnats.

Thanks guys,

Seira vista is a cool littel place, (i prefer smaller towns). Almost ended up there for an interesting job, might still. Not familiar with any of the airports down there yet, i suspect the restrictions on flying don't cover a very large area.

Is the 2x3 version for twins only or do folks use that for single also?

Joe,
The 2x3 is usually used on two place machines. He will do anything you want, however a 2x3 is usually too stiff for a single place.
