It's screen is hard to read in the bright light and reflection hinders viewing -- any suggestions.

Additionally, it'd been two years since I used it and I find that my 32 bit computer will not respond to the DataSend program that I have because it is 16bit -- any suggestions?

It has a tech support number that I discovered after they closed Friday.

My GPS 315 unit has airport and small city data but only out to about 55 mile radius and I'm trying to get to Concord Ga. in about 3 weeks.

Happy fathers day to all fathers

David, geographical coordinates can be entered into your GPS manually. You can get them from an aeronautical chart or even the MS map program that came with your computer.

That said, I have to admit that if I haven’t used the dammed thing in a month or so, I have to refer to the operator’s manual to decipher those multifunction buttons all over again.

David,

I have a 315 also, but its been over a year since I made any updates to it. Brian Wade maintains an excellent site with free download and instructions for updating your 315 with aviation data. My 315 came preloaded with database, but last time I updated using Brian's database:
