i called tenneesse prop today and talked to steve, i'm un sure on what prop to get 2 blade 3 blade. so i told him i had an ea81 about 90hp with a redrive 2.16: 1. he asked me what take off rpms were i told him i wanted 5000 rpm and to cruse at 70mph and 4300 rpms he told me a 70" 44 pitch would do it. it just seems big to me what do you guys think?? thank for the help. ben

The longest prop that will safely fit on your gyro with clearance from the boom and the rotor would be best. If you tell them the length they can tell you the best pitch. But I would recommend a ground adjustable prop, so you set the pitch exactly for your gyro.

That is not that big and would be best if you can fit it. 2315 RPM at the prop at your max 5000 motor RPM is right on. Can you fit that big of a prop?

I had the same configuration a bensen with a EA-81 engine and RFI reduction drive. I used a 3 blade wooden precision propeller 62" and it produced 425+pounds of thrust. If I was you I would get an Adjustable prop. If you want to use a wooden precision propeller and you have an RFI reduction drive.

the propeller hub can be taken to a machine shop and bore the center where the prop attaches to 1" to be able to use other props such as Powerfin or warpdrive those may work beter.
