View Full Version : I'm back! Anything new? Been out of it for a while!

I've been really busy with other things for a while. Been doing some renovations in the house, working lots of overtime at work. The paychecks haven't been as good for a while so I haven't been able to get anymore parts to continue work on my bee. I haven't even posted here in over a month I think....

So is anything new in the Gyrobee world or the gyro world in general?

Nothing new here... nobody's done $hit lately. Very boring. :D

Hey, 'been wondering what happened to you these days. Actually the 'Bee builders have been on a roll lately. Check out John's and Kirby's (and several other's) posts this past month. Pretty active folks.

Yeah, I've been looking around the last few minutes and see the other builders' progress. Nice to see gyros' are still being built and flying!!!

Progress on my "hangar" has been slow. I've got the floor joist in and I've started on the side beams for the exterior paneling, but it will be a while. *sigh* I wish it would go faster but unless a bag full of $100s' falls out of the sky tommorrow, It'll still be slow going. Gotta go to bed now, getting dirty looks from the wifey - and not the good kind, either.

Sounds like you're well on the way to solving one of the more intractable gyro problems - where to keep it. After that, finishing the a/c itself should be easy...

Yep. There's a whole thread on it. "Kenny J. Bites the Big One," or something like that. In fact, it's still going as I finish her up, which she just about is. Whether I'm alright or not is a subject that may be open for debate here, but physically, I wound up with just a slight bump to my forehead.
