Just in case any of you guys would like to come up for a weekend, We are holding another spring kick off Fly-in at Goose creek this coming March 27th and 28th.

Goose Creek airport - identifier is 28A - is located south east of Charlotte N.C. in Indian Trail N.C. The aiport is off Lawyers Rd about 4 miles from interstate I-485

There are motel - hotels in the area and plenty of places to get a drink or some food. I have room for a few people to stay here at the house if you need a place to stay, also camping at the airport is fine too although there is no power to plug into in the area we have set aside for campers.

Goose creek is a very layed back and friendly place to fly out of, Real good people up here! I promiss you will have fun! :D

The fly in is open to all types of aircraft from ultralights to gyros to general aviation to whatever else you feel like coming up to see us in. I would really like to see some of you guys come up with your gyros. I sold mine recently and we need some gyros in the air at this fly in!

If you need any more info, post it here or email me in private. Please plan to attend

Would you mind posting exact directions from I77 via 485?
Do you guys have any glyders flying there too?
Thanks,
Steve

Take I -77 either North if coming from S.C. or South if coming from N.C. and right at the state line get onto I-485 EAST. Take 485 East about 30 miles and look for and get off on the Lawyers Rd. Exit.

At the Top of the Ramp, turn right onto Lawyers Rd. Go about 4-5 miles and the airport will be on the left side of the road very visable from Lawyers Rd. Take one of the two Gravel driveways that run besides the runway and park where the other cars are parked.

Thanks for the directions. My daughter said to be sure to have that funny looking pooch with the googles on hand as she can't wait to see it. ::)
