I would like to find out a phone number I can call to subscribe to this magazine. I told Don Parham I would sign up at ROC, but never got the chance. I would also be interested in getting back issues. Somebody please help me!!!
Winter is here and I need more reading material. I don't want to do those home winter projects....

I don't know Ron. He lives farther north than I do and we had snow in the forcast for the day before Holloween. Plus, he's also closer to the lake effect snow area than I am. In fact, the Nazi weather man is calling for snow for this comming Tuesday.

Don

Yeah, that was an old photo. Yesterday was beautiful.
Our computer crashed, but a friend just got us back in business. Here is a pic from yesterday of my new project.

Don't have any money to powdercoat, like John's KB-2. Might just polish everything up. Thanks for the manual John. I'll be installing an EA-81 direct drive with Tenn. wood prop.

I've used a pizza oven for drying before -- they sell infrared lights for big parts, like gyro airframes.

http://www.eastwoodco.com/department.asp?dep_key1=pwct&SKW=FHCOAT

don't miss all the links on the left of this kinda busy page.

cheers

-=K=-

John, a freind bought this kit many years ago with intent to start as a glider(see the cheek plates?). I have all the powered stuff too. Just missing alot of nuts & bolts. He then gave it to another guy. Then it was offered to me for $2000. I grabbed it. I have the Sub mounts. Also brand new Brock blades.

I want the nose wheel steerable. I want prerotator & brake. Depending on money I may go without for now. It came with factory built tail & rock gaurd. I don't think I'll use a stab. I learned to fly my AC447 HTL without one & Ken never used one! My nostalgic machine! Can't wait till you get soloed in your QUEEN machine. There sure is beauty in clean & simple!
