Hi Folks:
My name is John (Jack) Buckner I live in Spruce Pine NC, smack dab in the mountains. I am 71 and should know better by now but here goes.
In 1974 I built, licensed and taught myself to fly, a Bensen B8 M. In those days we didn't have two place gyros or gyro instructors. I followed Mr. Bensens instructions to the letter and managed to survive with no big problems, ( the Mac quit on me a few times) to speak of.
I still have the old ship out in the garage along with a MaxAir Hummer UL.

I have the itch again and hope to scratch. I re joined PRA and I am looking for parts, advice and any gyronuts living close. I tried to get on the GA/ SC website but somehow it doesn't seem to work.

Fly low and slow and take it easy on the curves.

JB

Thanks Guys,
Ron: I finally got into your site by typing in the address ( www.pra13/com/home ).
Looks like your the nearest chapter. Will have to drive 4 hrs.one way to meetings at Aiken. We are so far back in the hills that JARS uses this county to train pilots to fly in and out of jungle strips. For real!
