Pic #2 I was turning and this is what happens when your new with the camera. Still, the green stuff looks good.

Have a question for you more experienced shutterbugs. It seems to me that I see better...closer...detail in the aerials of the ground, when the camera is set on *landscape.* Any comments?! I'm using the Cyber-shot camera.

Personally, I think aerial photos have more appeal when you can see part of the horizon in the shot. Therefore, I prefer the landscape photos to portrait. If you think about it, portrait shots are designed to capture the surrounding of your audience. If you want to really get impressive aerial shots, then I feel the horizon is a must... As Ron would say, "just my 2 cents" :)
