View Full Version : How to post links - for Ron Awad

Most people have noticed that when you post a link that ends with an extension the .wmv is cut off the end. For example:

http://media.ebaumsworld.com/index.php?e=godlypingpng.asf

You'll notice the .asf is cut off the end.

Well to fix this. You just need to type in your link address or cut and paste it in, whatever works for you.

Then highlight it by left clicking and dragging your mouse from beginning to end of the link then releasing the mouse. This will "highlight" the link.

Then click on the small icon with a globe and piece of paper on it. This will add the URL tags to the front and back. When you post your message the link will show up correctly. Here is a picture of the highlighted text and arrow pointing to the icon.

Doesn't it make sense that with 600+ posts Ron Awad should be teaching me how to do things on the forum? ::)

Todd, I think you're expecting too much of Ron. Give him a break. The posting machine/motormouth is just too busy to learn anything new.... don't you agree?
