Flying H Ranch with Scott Essex

Today I went down to Scott's place what a sweet setup he and Mary have!

The whole area is dotted with small grass strips and a RC field.
I had a blast flying around there!

How long you gonna be around these parts? I should be flying again real soon and maybe you can come down again and all 3 of us can do some flying.

Same here Phil, Ill be here 3 to 4 weeks that sounds good we can have a pre SX days and fly to the two airports that scott and I got invited to.

We were at about 2400 ft AGL, just under the broken cloud cover, you could see the haze just under the clouds and you could really feel a big drop in temperature.

We were welcomed at Peach State airport, had some good burgers and conversation, I told the resturant owner about the fly in in July, and he said we are all welcome to come on over and eat at Barnstormers.

That's a lot of airfields. It sounds like you shouldn't have to worry too much about landing spots for emergency landings, Just look down and there's a strip.

Hopefully Phil's gyro will be flying here in a week or so, I had to order a few parts and they should be in this week.
