Warning - Offensive Material

I have received a few e-mails from our members who have been offended by the material found in links from this site. I've thought over how best to handle this problem and have come up with the following solution:

If you post a link that contains material which might be considered offensive, please include the following disclaimer prior to the link:

WARNING - This Link Contains Material that Might be Offensive

I don't believe in any type of censorship, but I also believe people deserve the right to be warned if they are about to view something offensive. Our readership is most likely 100% adult. However it should not be taken for granted that everyone enjoys the same humor.

I hope this doesn't turn into a long drawn out discussion about what is vulgar and what isn't. Just use some common sense.

Welcome to the wonderful world of disclaimers. I can only think of plastic bags that don't have the warning on the INSIDE so it can be read WHILE someone is accidentally suffocating.

The forum rules should be changed from now on. If some message states tha it has something offensive, then it MUST have something offensive, otherwise people get frustrated. :rolleyes:
